DAY-1 ARRIVAL TO PHUNTSHOLING

On Arrival to Phuntsholing/Bagdogra you will be received by Our representative (Guide). Over night at Hotel.

DAY-2 PHUNTSHOLING - PARO

After your immigration formalities our representative will further drive to Paro which is of 5 hours’ drive (151 Km approx.), Phuentsholing is a boundary municipality in the south of Bhutan, located in Chukha Dzongkhag, opposite of the Indian town, Jaigaon. Known mostly for its scenic beauty, Phuntsholing serves as the gateway to Bhutan and other attractions such as Thimphu, Paro and Punakha. Economically, Phuntsholing town serve as commercial hub for Bhutan. If time permits, afternoon at leisure. Overnights at hotel.

Day. 3 PARO - PARO

After breakfast Paro Sightseeing covering DrukgyelDzong(Presently closed for tourist),RinpungDzong, KyichuLhakhang (Monastery), National museum, Nyemi zampa national dress hiring, International airport view, Back to the hotel. Over night at Hotel.

[OR ] PARO - FULL DAY HIKE TO TAKTSANG LHAKHANG (TIGER`S NEST)

Start the day early for a day hike to TaktsangLhakhang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery)-The hike which is all the way uphill takes about 2 /3 hours one way through pine forests. Afternoon at leisure for go for shopping in the market. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY. 4 PARO - THIMPHU

After breakfasts go for Thimphusightseeing covering – Memorial Chorten, TashichhoDzong,Buddha Point (KuenselPhodong),ChangangkhaLhakhang (Monastery), MotithangTakin Preservation Centre,DrupthobGoemba / Zilukha Nunnery, National Library (Closed on Saturday , Sunday & National Holiday), Institute for ZorigChusum (Traditional Art & Craft School-Closed on Saturday , Sunday, National Holiday & During Summer & Winter Vacations), Textiles Museum (Handicrafts Shops -Closed on Saturday, Sunday & National Holiday), ZangthopelriLhakhang (Monastery).Overnight at Hotel.

DAY.5 THIMPHU – PUNAKHA (DAY EXCURSION)

After breakfast drive to Punakha(1200Mts / 3936Fts, 77 Kms / 03 to 3½ Hrs) /Wangdi (Wangdiphodrang) (1350Mts / 4430Fts, 70 Kms / 03 to 3½ Hrs). Punakha / Wangdiisthe last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan. The drive is over Dochu La pass(3080Mts / 10102Fts) which is very scenic with fascinating view of mountains of Bhutan. Visit PunakhaDzong, If time permit visit theSuspensionBridgeand then proceed to ChimiLhakhang(Monastery). Overnight at Hotel.
